National Conference on Volunteering and Service.

Allison and I will be in Atlanta at the National Conference on Volunteering and Service on Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday. We're exhibiting and you can find us in booth #'s 114 and 116. Our story is so big that we needed two booths! If you're attending the conference, please stop by to say 'hi'.

San Antonio.

I haven't been here in years and years – always loved San Antonio. Meetings today with:

  • The Boys & Girls Clubs of San Antonio
  • The Animal Defense League of Texas
  • YMCA of Greater San Antonio
  • MySanAntonio.com (San Antonio Express-News)
  • San Antonio Food Bank

And after the last meeting I drive to Austin for nonprofit meetings tomorrow.

And here's why we're building the good2gether network...

PC Magazine posted a list of "Top 15 Undiscovered Web Sites" earlier this week. Read about it here.

You know what they forgot to add to that list? How about any ONE of the 1.5 million nonprofits in this country that are doing amazing things in our communities, but go virtually unnoticed online? That's exactly why we're building the good2gether network—to give nonprofits the sort of visibility they deserve, at no cost to them whatsoever.

Marathon.

Yikes.

Boston to Phoenix. Then Phoenix to Dallas Tuesday night. Dallas to San Antonio Wednesday night. San Antonio to Austin Thursday night. Austin to Atlanta on Saturaday. Then, finally, Atlanta back to Boston on Tuesday, June 3rd.

I'm tired already.

Some terrific stuff lined up though – great nonprofit meetings and then I'll be at the National Conference on Volunteering and Service in Atlanta. If you're there, let's connect!

And if you haven't already, check out our Do Good Channel. Find something cool and put it up on Facebook.

Where the nonprofits are.

Not surprisingly, the largest number of nonprofits in the Do Good Channel are in our initial launch markets:

  • MA    585
  • CA    283
  • GA    146

New York, Pennsylvania, and Texas are coming on strong as is Illinois. Come on – your nonprofit needs to be in the Do Good Channel by good2gether!

California is burning.

Or at least the grass is at this entrance ramp. Seen as I was driving between meetings in Sacramento.

The eTrour crew!

I'm proving how easy it is to shoot pics and upload to the blog. And everyone now believes.

Sacramento, CA.

I'm in Sacramento to speak at an eTour and then meetings with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Great Sacramento and The Nonprofit Resource Center.

And how many nonprofits in good2gether today?

How about this many:

And actually, that undercounts it. That's as of Friday. More by today.

Shouldn't your nonprofit be in our Do Good Channel so that more people can find your stuff – your programs, your events, volunteering opportunities, in-kind donation needs, articles and information, and jobs? (hint – the answer is yes)
