Deborah Elizabeth Finn (aka Cyber-Yenta), who does amazing work with nonprofits on technology and social media, just sent around an email to her colleagues on the Information Systems Forum about the good2gether content syndication widget.
Here's her note (reproduced with her approval):
Dear ISF Colleagues,
Good2gether has blown my mind once again. They are now offering a free syndication widget for nonprofits with static web sites. Take a look at this:

Basically, what this means is that if you're a small nonprofit with a web site that don't (or can't) update very often, Good2gether's widget will enable you to manage up to the minute content about your mission that will be syndicated automatically to your web site. You can go to the widget (which is hosted and administered by Good2gether) and type in news , and it will magically appear on your static web site. Items could include fundraising pitches, volunteering opportunities, workshops, rallies, and news about your organization.
If you're not ready to migrate to a content management system for your web site, this is a great intermediate strategy. The Good2gether syndication widget hasn't achieved perfect yet and still needs some tweaks, but it is well worth trying!
Disclaimer: Good2gether.com does not pay me to say nice things about them or their syndication widget. I am speaking as a fan.
Best regards from Deborah
