And if you’re ever in Denver.

Can I recommend the following?

Have a hamburger at Cherry Cricket – yum! Great burger. Great fries. Great onion rings. Go. You'll enjoy it. You can find the Cricket here.

And then before or after, go to Tattered Cover Book Store. I love books and I love book stores. And this is a terrific, terrific book store. You can find it here.

As you drive through the neighborhoods that were hardest hit it's amazing to see how few houses are being worked on. And the ones that are being rebuilt you'll often see these white trailers in front - that's where the families are living (and have been living) through the rebuilding process.

Man, I don't like being in one of those for a weekend of camping...imagine living in one for months and months.

Lunch at Lunetta.

Picture 613, originally uploaded by Middlesex Fells.

Having a quick lunch at Lunetta before my next meeting. If you look closely in the mirror you'll see me.

The Big Apple (again & again & again).

Back in New York for:

A meeting with a VC at (A), a meeting with American Red Cross in Greater New York at (B), a meeting with a different VC at (C), back to my hotel (D) to pick up my bag, and then over to Penn Station (E) for the Acela back to Boston.

One of the myriad of great things about New York? It's about the best walking city around. Up. Down. Left. Right. As long as it's not raining, it's terrific to skip the cabs and walk from one end of town to the other.

eTours!

Part of the giveback that I do for the nonprofit space is speaking to groups about using the net to effectively engage the Millennial Generation.  The ePhilanthropy Foundation runs a great seminar series called the eTour.  I'll be speaking at several upcoming eTours on "Connecting the Net Generation With Your Cause: Facebook, MySpace & Millenials".   If you're interested in attending, click the links below to register:

Luggage update.

Yesssss!!!!!

Continental found my bag.  Of course not in time for me to wear clean clothes this morning.  But at least I got it back.

I hate.

Continental Airlines.

How hard is this?

I'm flying from Austin to Houston yesterday. Single leg flight. About a half hour in length. And I arrive at the airport in Austin two hours before the flight.

So naturally Continental lost my bag. No idea where it is. None.

Fan_freakin_tastic.

So, no shave this AM. No clean clothes. And a big meeting with The Houston Chronicle and a number of prominent local nonprofits.

You'll be able to recognize me…I'll be the one in the chino's and shirt from yesterday.
