Off to Miami today to take part in the WeMedia GameChangers Conference. Lots of interesting people attend this one (and then there's me) and I'll be a judge in the Pitch Your Big Idea contest – pretty excited about that.
In addition to taking part in a great conference and being around a bunch of smart people, know what else is great? It's warm in Miami and I'm so very ready for that.

I was supposed to be in Houston today for nonprofit meetings to continue with preparations for our planned launch in the market. Needless to say, Ike cancelled my meetings. Now I'm flying back to Boston this afternoon directly from Austin. Our thoughts and prayers are with all the folks on the Texas Gulf Coast.
Gearing up for the launch of the Do Good Channel in Austin – scheduled for October. I have meetings on Thursday with the Austin Humane Society, Austin Community Foundation, Texas Campus Compact, and Southwest Key Programs.

When After I landed in Austin (and JetBlue had lost my bag) I was wearing the shorts and wrinkled white shirt in the top photo and that's what I had to wear to my first meeting. I then ducked into a Gap and, voila!, I was a little better dressed for my second meeting. Plus I felt better.
